Dr. Angela Howard grew up in the San Joaquin Valley. She studied ecology at UC Davis and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. She has worked as a veterinarian in the Riverside area for 18 years. Immediately after veterinary school, she started at Woodcrest Veterinary Clinic. She was there for nine years before taking a job in Moreno Valley. Now she’s pleased to be back -working with Dr. Mann and Dr. Pawar. Dr. Howard loves being a general practitioner because of the infinite variety of health issues she treats and the trusted relationships she’s able to build with her clients. You may be surprised to know that Dr. Howard speaks some Spanish. She was in the Peace Corps in Guatemala before starting veterinary school. After veterinary school, she continued to volunteer internationally with the Christian Veterinary Mission. She first met her adopted Haitian daughter while on a veterinary mission trip. Dr. Howard enjoys many aspects of small animal practice, especially soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. Dr. Howard works full-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She is accepting new clients.
