Dental Services

Dogs and cats are prone to developing the same types of dental diseases and problems as humans, including gingivitis, periodontal disease, tooth decay, staining and cavities. We recommend that all dogs and cats receive their first dental checkup shortly after they are weaned and at least once a year for every year of their lives. Pet dental checkups include an examination of your pet’s head, neck, face, ears and mouth in order to check for signs of health problems. Once the basic examination is complete, your veterinarian will completely clean all the plaque and tartar from your pet’s teeth and below the gum line. Once your pet’s teeth are clean, we can give you tips and tricks to help you remove food particles and plaque at home between professional pet dental cleanings, like pet-safe toothpaste and toothbrushes as well as dental chews.

Diagnostics

We offer labs, ultrasound and xrays, urinalysis, various cultures, stool samples.

Light Grooming

Sanitary trims and baths as needed due to pet being sick. Please note we do not have Groomer Services.

Nail Trimming

For cats or dogs. This is especially important for older pets and indoor pets to avoid the nails from growing into their paw pads.

• Expressing Anal Glands

If you notice your dog is rubbing its butt on the carpet or ground, or if you notice they are licking or chewing their rear ends or tails this could be a sign that they have fluid built-up that needs to be taken care of.

Health certificates for traveling

Please note: We need time to process your requests, because each state and country have different requirements. Please be sure to let us know in advance of where you will be going.

Blood Transfusion

If this is a service you need, please call us to discuss further.

• Deworming and also Preventive Care for fleas, ticks and heartworms.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
